Twelve of my bottles didn’t find buyers in the June auction. It seems like no steps have been taken to list them again in later auctions, which is different from what’s happened before. This is pretty frustrating considering how much business I’ve done with JWA. So, what’s going on with those unsold bottles?

It all kicks off with a picture of what you’re looking to sell or show them to get an idea of what similar bottles have fetched. If you’re happy with the info you get, you can decide to proceed or not—totally up to you. There’s a one-time fee if you choose to move forward, and they’ll assist you if you want to set a reserve price, meaning your bottle won’t go for less than that, or you can opt for no reserve and they’ll explain all the costs involved. If you’re cool with everything, you can go ahead or not; there’s no pressure from them. Once you decide, they’ll send you confirmation of what you agreed on, and your bottle will be listed in the sale where you can track its progress. After the auction wraps up, you’ll get a confirmation of how your bottle performed. If it sells, you’ll see the money in your bank account in about a week, minus the fees we talked about at the beginning.
